“We do not see things as they are. We see things as we are.”

Anais Nin

The Work Mindfulness Institute was founded in 2014, to offer the science of mindfulness, to individuals, groups, and businesses, families and communities to engage vibrantly, in stress-less environments

We offer several programs that relieve stress, increase awareness, and build insight. We help individuals generate a higher level of consciousness and performance.  Our programs provide tools to strengthen stress resilience, the brains connections and enhance happiness

Our Mission is to help individuals connect heart, mind, body, spirit and emotional awareness to achieve greater well-being.  The one-on-one approach helps people to stress-less and cope more in the world, to be at peace, have satisfaction, and realize happiness.

Why get a coach?

Do you want to walk or drive?

A coach can help you identify blind spots and opportunities to overcome obstacles and focus on what’s important.  A coach can help you accelerate your success and fast forward towards your goals.  A coach helps you to be accountable and is blunt when necessary.  A good coach does the following things for you.

  • They help you to figure out where to find the answers, based on the things that you want for your life
  • They co-create with you, based on your goals, to be powerful and capable in areas that are important to you
  • They help you to look at life, find balance, based on your beliefs, ethics, morals, hopes, and dreams.
  • They let you lead and help you to look good and feel great

What is the Neuroscience of Coaching and Mindfulness?
It’s a fact, a positive coach approach fires individuals up and gets them motivated.  Just look at the research and insights provided here, by the NCBI.  By focusing on specific goals and mindfully working on getting them done, your brain gets lit, wired, fired up!

The neuroscience shows that mindfulness and a positive coach approach offers proven results. Being more aware and more focused, we are more able to self-monitor and pause before deciding how to respond, rather than react from old knee-jerk habits or patterns that may not serve us. If we are emotionally less responsive and more in control, we are more likely to remain calm, even in stressful work situations.
